The Principle of the company Steve Mabbett is a qualified marine surveyor, CBIP certified Boiler & Pressure Inspector with all endorsements, Inshore Launch Master and CBIP certified crane inspector with over 25 years experience.
No boat is too big or too small. Surveys are undertaken throughout New Zealand as well as internationally. Recently we have surveyed boats in Mauritius, Dubai, Norway, China, Australia, England, Spain and Hong Kong.
We have experience with all boat types including Steel Boats, Alloy, GRP and Wooden Construction Yachts.
Clients who have recently used us for their marine surveying requirements include Sanfords, Sealord and Explore NZ, as well as surveying the local commercial vessels operating in Bay of Islands, Tutukaka, Whangarei and Auckland. Further we survey and manage the majority of Inshore fishing vessals in the northern area, from Leigh to Houhora and the West Coast Kaipara.
Our knowledgeable team in the office Leeanne and Kirsty are there to help our clients with ongoing support, whether it's sending copies of reports to insurance companies, updating documents for MNZ or just taking general day to day calls to help with any issues or enquiries.
Leeanne is able to help and support any new build production vessels under 7.5m in regards to meeting requirements to go through initial survey with a recognised surveyor.
